Private chef FAQs.

What occasions are right for a private chef?

Private dining works beautifully for dinner parties, birthdays, anniversaries, milestone meals, and any gathering where you want the menu and experience to feel truly personal.

Is the menu customized?

Yes. Chef Allen designs the menu around your preferences, guests, occasion, and the ingredients at their best. The current menus can provide inspiration, but they do not limit the final menu.

What is the difference between private chef service and catering?

Private chef service centers on an intimate, restaurant-style meal shaped around one table. Catering is designed for larger celebrations, weddings, corporate gatherings, and other event formats. Et Catering offers both.
